One of the reasons I didn’t become a fashion designer is my addiction to sweatpants. You see, one has to be 100% committed to fashion to have one’s designs taken seriously, and I can not live without my elastic-waisted, fuzzy pants. This is not to say I don’t love wearing nice clothes, though. I’d wear about anything from Kitsuné, a Paris-based design house headed by a stylish designer/dj duo. Silhouettes are part preppy, part Japanese arty—these clothes are as cool as their originators. I think of Kitsuné as the warm-up wear to my cozy pants.
