Rock en Seine
The Rock en Seine is a not to be missed musical festival that has been held since 2003. The much anticipated event features back to back performances of sixty of the world's most popular groups on four stages in the historic Park of Domaine National de Saint-Cloud.
The event is likened to a musical marathon with an incredible list of top-notch performers from across the world. This year, the Rock en Seine line-up includes headliners such as the Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, and Archive among many others. While most of the groups perform rock music, other genres of music are also included.
The festival also includes an interesting photography exhibit called the Rockfolio. This year, the exhibit will feature Renaud Montfourny, founder of the music magazine Les Inrockuptibles. Montfourny has photographed most of the people at the forefront of rock for the last 25 years, so the exhibit promises to be one of the most interesting.
A three-day pass for the event is priced at 103 Euros and children 6-10 are free with adult ticket holders. Those with three-day passes may camp nearby for 30 Euros for two people and three nights. The event location is very near to the Boulogne – Pont de Saint-Cloud metro station, making it an ideal choice for transportation.
